Protected youth enrolment is not open. This notice explains the proposed 13–17 account model and its implemented controls; activation remains subject to legal and safeguarding review. Under-13 accounts are not supported.
Your information
We use your private date of birth to work out which account protections apply. Your sporting profile can include your sport, results, achievements, biography and approved photographs or highlights. Your exact date of birth, account email and guardian contact details are not shown in youth discovery. Do not put private contact details, school routines or home locations in your biography or media.
Who can see your profile
Your profile starts private. A verified guardian must actively approve protected discovery. Appropriate verified professionals can then see selected sporting information inside Apex. Youth Passports ask search engines not to index them. This instruction is not a guarantee against copying or screenshots. Ordinary unverified accounts do not receive youth discovery access.
What your guardian controls
Ages 13–15 use guardian-managed publication. Ages 16–17 can contribute sporting information, but the guardian still controls professional discoverability, commercial and representation availability, and media publication. You can see account updates. If you are worried about guardian control, ask Apex for an independent safeguarding review; you do not need to persuade the guardian first.
Professional contact
Agents, brands, coaches and clubs must use a professional contact request. The guardian must approve it before messaging starts, and a verified guardian is included in the conversation. There is no private professional-to-youth side channel. A subscription does not buy verification or remove guardian involvement.
Photos, highlights and location
Apex keeps its limit of one portrait, up to six gallery images and one highlight of up to 60 seconds. New media needs guardian publication review. Use broad regions rather than home addresses or training schedules. Media processing uses the providers listed in the main Privacy Policy.
Getting help
You and your guardian can block professionals and report inappropriate contact, requests for personal information, harassment, false identity or other concerns. Child-safety reports are prioritised for staff review. Reports and messages may be retained to investigate concerns; they are not automatically erased when someone is blocked. In immediate danger, contact emergency services.
Information for guardians
We hold your private account details, relationship declaration, verification outcome, policy acknowledgements, decisions and relevant communications. These are not public guardian profiles. Independent authority review may require additional evidence; evidence access and retention need to be proportionate. We do not claim that your acknowledgement supplies a lawful basis for every use of the athlete’s data.
When you turn 18
Mandatory guardian authority ends when your private birth date establishes that you are 18. Historical records remain, and both participants receive account updates. Review privacy, commercial and representation choices before publishing as an adult. A former guardian does not automatically retain control.
Your choices and rights
Ask Apex about your information, access, correction, restriction, objection or deletion through Your Data settings or apexathletegroupnco@gmail.com. These rights belong to the young person too; a guardian does not automatically receive every private safety disclosure.
